SAPMA Model Expo 2017 - now with pic's!

SAPMA Model Expo will be held on the weekend of the 14 - 15 October 2017 at Immanuel College, 32 Morphett Road Novar Gardens SA.

I'll be there, along with a few of my models. If anyone else is going, it'd be great to meet up with you!

I'm taking 2 weeks off work. One week to finish off some builds, the other to recover from the excitement (& the fallout from buying more kits).


Also, it's going to be the last model show I attend until 2019, as my planned trip up the east coast via the Australian Model Expo in Melbourne next year has been stymied by a trip to the Med & the Czech Republic (+/- bits to be decided) which will include the SAPMA Expo weekend.

Just work on the basis of 3/4 shoe/clothes shops to model shop ?

There's an interesting "armour" shop just off Wenceslas Square which sells full size replica suits of armour and weaponry. Also has some fantastic model soldiers on display but price wise 

Lovely city Prague, nice country to visit as well  Only been to Slovakia on business so can't really comment

Dead right there, but most of my work there was in Pilsen, where they invented lager, not that I drink it anyway. Pilsen also has the world's largest Tesco, where they sell cars and m'bikes too!

Yup although one is more a soldier shop who sells models if I think about it. So 3.25 ?

Trying to finalise some fiddly bits & pack kits in boxes for tomorrow.

I'm entering them in various categories but I expect to win nothing, as I don't have any references (not even kit instructions) & they're not really comp level builds, but it'll be fun to watch people's faces when they see them.

My favourite bit is hanging around & listening to people talking about my builds.
