Someone obviously told Micro Mir we had a GB coming up  ;)

Pretty!  ;D
Looks nearly like a Bloch 210, a possible inspiration.
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Well, that'd fix all those fly over states...  ;)

It'd spoil a lot of songs though:

"Well West Coast girls are ..."

"Ah excuse me?"

"What?"

"Which West Coast exactly?"

not to forget the open-air version

Presumably the forward of the two dorsal gunners was the Political Officer who's job was to shoot the pilots if they flew away from the enemy... ;)

No! No! No!  That would deter them from advancing!  The REAR gunner, behind them is prepared to shoot them all in the back if they refuse to fly forward!   :banghead:

Think you're misunderstanding me. There are a total of THREE 'upper surface' gunners, but I was talking about this guy:

Having said that, thanks for starting a debate about who's job it is to shoot the pilot: it's a pretty perfect metaphor for Communism in general....

Nyet!  Nyet!  It must be the rear most gunner who shoots the rest of the crew when they fail in their revolutionary duties!

You lot obviously all need a trip to the re-education camp.
It is quite clearly the job of anyone who has any suspicion that a fellow crew member may be failing in their duties to the people to form a committee to decide who shoots the pilot.

If I was the pilot I'd bail out and THEN see what they do with their committee...............  ;)

Political Officers all lead from the rear to encourage appropriate revolutionary zeal!

They must also ensure that they are the only person with a parachute, as it is their duty to survive to report on the heroic sacrifices of their comrades!

Seriously, you lot all need to be re-re-educated!

Don't know about that, but have you seen the size of that torpedo ? Either the crew are midgets or it's .......... :o

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The Hall XPTBH was designed for the US with requirement that it
carry a standard USN torpedo of the type carried on destroyers.

I have yet to see anybody build a C-130 Hercules amphibian plane.  I always hear and read about this from time to time in books and elsewhere, but never see anybody make a model.

Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.
