The Bolton Model Show is moving next year to the Premier Suite at the Macron Stadium at Bolton, a larger venue at a more accessible venue that's closer to the M61 motorway and next to the Middlebrooks Retail Park making it easier for WAGS to go shopping, or catch a film whilst we be boring  ;D.

Martin should be booking a table for What-If SIG and I have already booked one for Project Cancelled SIG.

I'm in, although you may not see much of me if there's a sale on at TK Maxx....  ;)

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I will try and get there this time, hopefully will bring something to display too.

I could comment on the lines that "well the football team aren't really using it, so the model club might as well", but then I'm a Palace supporter and stones and glasshouses come to mind  :banghead:

It's a much easier venue to get to in so far as public transport is concerned that's for sure. May see if friends in Manchester are around that weekend.

I've not been to Bolton since I retired and looked after Eaton Axles there for many years. My cars knew the route on their own so it may be worth a visit if the timing's right.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Horwich Parkway station just over the road Chris, so near enough to stagger under the heavy load of purchases  ;D :-X

For reference there is a Hotel at the venue, one across the road near the railway station and a Travel Lodge back at the Beehive roundabout.

I knew there was one as I've been passed a few times, but didn't know which one it was. Cheers
