For those of you who remember me, I will be at Telford this weekend. I know I haven't been as active in the group or as prolific at modeling this past year, but there have been some real world issues. I have been in contact with Allan (Dork, the kitslayer) after seeing him at the US conventions the last couple years. I look forward to a chance to say hello and meet those who are there.

If you see Santa Claus (Father Christmas) with a strange accent, stop and say hello.

Like wise Ed. Stop by the stand and join in the "fun"
I always hope for the best.

Just a note for those on Friday setup, the location of the SIGs in Hall3 is opposite the roller shutter door again, however with more traders and no real world exhibits that door will be open and used for vehicle access and egress so after discussion with the IPMS on their FB page they have suggested a 5-6pm set up window rather than pitch up at 3pm as the tables may not be able to be set up till later in the afternoon. Thankfully we do have Eduard on one end and another set of Traders at the other so once those are setup our tables are then pretty much secure.

That's really screwed me  :banghead: As my train ticket doesn't allow flexibility, makes it by far the cheapest option, I'll probably grab a cab to the hotel near Donnington, check in, grab a spot of lunch and then get a cab back latter. All good fun  :-\

Chris, I'm not there on the Friday, but I'll be down Saturday morning (early), going home that night at chucking out time, coming back on Sunday and going home again. If you need a lift to somewhere local on the Saturday or Sunday night I'd be happy to oblige.

Oh well.
The time has come the time is now, and if everything had been OK I would have been within an hour of Telford right now.
How ever it was not to be.
So I will just wish you all a great weekend, just try and not get too bankrupt .

Been here for several hours and enjoying the room. Be glad you didn't come Jim, its about as far away from the lift and stairs as it could be, in fact almost as far as it is to the Show!

Basically what Jiim said earlier.  Y'all have great weekend, post pics, share the goss (scandal, rumour, stash increases, etc, even mention new or planned releases) and enjoy!

And from me, I guess it's all kicking off around now.  Enjoy.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I took a whole bunch of pics at the show, 36 of them to be precise, and almost every one is over exposed and out of focus.  :banghead: I'll be able to rescue some of them, but I'll have to do some more tomorrow. Just as a taster here's an overall view of the WhatIf and Project Cancelled SIG stands.

I managed to make something of some of the other pics, so here's a 'scan' of the Whiff SIG stand from left to right, followed by the Project Cancelled stand similarly.

Around Saturday lunchtime I bought an S&M Models 1/72 Stalwart kit and had it with me on the stand until maybe mid afternoon. I put it down alongside my other stuff behind the stand and went wandering, as you do,

When I returned I couldn't find the Stalwart, and I waited until everyone else had gone that evening and inspected every nook and cranny underneath the stand, to no avail. Today I asked everyone if they'd seen it, without any joy, and when we started to pack up I was able to get under the stand tables myself to check. There was no sign of it.  :banghead: :banghead:

Now I know a Stalwart is an all terrain vehicle, but it was till in kit form so there was very little chance that it could have taken itself off anywhere so I must presume that someone else took it.

Please could you check all your plastic bags, model boxes etc. to see if you've picked it up by mistake. If it wasn't a mistake please post it back to me at the address below and no more need be said.
