If I can ever get in gear and start building the damn thing........and win the lottery  ;D........I'd bring my 1/350 scale Habakkuk (6 feet long) to Telford and wow the crowd and judges with that.  ;D  That would be surprising to see something that BIG get an award.  :o

That it would!  :o

You may need a hi-lift forklift to get it upstairs to the competition gallery though.  ;D

I might also need a very large walk in freezer to help keep it cold.  ;D
Modeling isn't just about how good the gluing or painting, etc. looks. It's also about how creative and imaginative you can be with a subject.
My modeling philosophy is: Don't build what everyone else has done. Build instead what nobody has seen or done before.

So, my 1:1 scale Matilda Frog which I have in the Garage downunder might have a few problems getting into the competition gallery, then?

Just a bit, yes.  ;D

Maybe they'd give you special dispensation to display it downstairs though, as a couple of years ago we had a full size tank in Hall 3, and it drove in under its own power!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Right-ho!  I'll book passage on the next freighter to the UK, shall I?  Can I park it at your place once it arrives?

He can always park it at my place: it won't go through the gate* but I'd LOVE to see him park it on the kerb and then watch the impatient ****s try to take the wing mirror off it by passing it too closely...

*Well I suppose, technically, it would, if I wanted a wider and messier gateway and/or no telephone line (the telephone pole is one of my "gate stumps").

Just a note on the off-chance that anybody cares: I'm deleting my picture file from this show from Flickr in order to keep within their 1000 picture free account limit.

I still have all the pics from the show on my hard drive, so if anybody wants to see a specific one, just ask.
