Oddly enough, they provide the photo NOSE but not the photo decals.  :banghead:

You'll need the original Airfix boxing of it Brad, that does have the recce nose decals.

Thanks, brotha! I may as well pick one up anyway so that I can build both version so that works out quite well indeed.

Yes the original AIRFIX kit had the PR markings in it.
I used my lot on my F2H-3P Banshee way back in 2012.

They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

How annoying.  I didn't realise that.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Yeah!! I don't really see why it wouldn't be included.... pretty weird. Could be a mildly interesting story behind it all...

MPC was the USA arm for Airfix (same as USAirfix), all they did was rebox the Airfix kits but with a different decal sheet. So what came as plastic in the box was just reproduced.  I've got a few MPC kits and they're all the same format, identical plastic, different decals.

One time, I bought the reboxing of the HP Halifax because the box art shows a solid nose version, anything plastic like that in the box ---- nope -- just the decals for it.

I bet it wasn't intentional then, they probably simply didn't notice or pay too close enough attention to the sprues! Probably a "not my job" type of deal.  ;D Or, simple cost-cutting. That's just as likely I suppose.

Either or both.

I wound up with a US boxing of the A-26 in Black, with the transfers for the Korea version only...

That MPC Halifax box is interesting, not seen that before. Cheers

Reminds me of something, someone like Eduard would do in one of their various styles of boxings ? White Box Plus series perhaps

I am seeking 1/48 F-4 Phantom drop tanks.  If anybody has any to spare, it would be appreciated.

Anyone have a SPARE (don't go breaking up a kit or anything... if no one has one, I'll come up with another solution) canopy for a single seater F-16? I have an old Monogram F-16A sans canopy.....   I imagine another brand would work maybe, depending, so that would be fine, too I guess.

PR19_Kit

I may have one if I can find it. I don't build F-16s, and I used the landing gear from one on my Hawker P.1086 a few years ago.

I'll see if I can find it.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Cheers!!  David, 63cpe, has an Italeri one but naturally I'd go with whichever is closest to the monogram one. I think a whole slew of them were made under Revell that were the same tooling.

Don't spend too much time looking for it. I have plan B and C now so it's not too critical. It just irks me to have parts missing from things.  :banghead:

Has anyone got any The Fang  spray paint from Games Workshop have been using it for Royal Navy colour scheme  Went to buy some more and it's been discontinued .

NARSES2

I find Games Workshop have the extremely annoying habit of simply changing the name of their paints every couple of years or so. Mind you my only personal experience is with the pots/tubs of paint, not the spray range.

Sure they haven't simply done this and it's now called something completely different ?
