Even better than my idea.  Lots of real estate to use and far less effort!  I had been using a 1/144 JU-88 but, obviously, it is small so having more room is always nice.

You know of course that if anyone does have a spare half fuselage it will be the same side you already have.

It's an odd thing to have.  Anyone make a Jumbo with an optional clear fuselage half?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Revell did a 1/144 -200 with a removable panel in the side, and zillions of tiny seats to paint inside.

They did a Tri-Star like that too and I've actually got one of them in The Loft. Totally knackered box but the plastic's still good.

Now on the lookout for a Maquette Vickers Viking.  I *think* I have one in the loft at me Mam's but I didn't see it when I was looking for something else a few weeks back.

Are you still on the lookout for Skybirds 86 DH Hornets? I saw one today, but I couldn't remember whether you said you'd got enough or not and I didn't know if £20 was a good price.

Yes and no.  If I saw it, I'd get it but TBH, I really have more than enough of the things.  £20 is the top end of what I'd pay though, although it's not overly expensive for the best kit of the type we're likely to get.

I've got this one which isn't too bad a kit.

I'm not selling mine though, got a planned display of the 1/72 B-52A and X-15 plus a bunch of other X Planes it was used to launch.

I am in Oklahoma, in the glorious United States of America.

I am looking for one of these if anyone has one they don't want:

Also/or a set of good transfers for a 1/144 747-400 (Revell), same livery.

PR19_Kit

I may have some United 1/144 decals for a 767-300 somewhere, which might do the job. Two sets would definitely fit, but I'd need to ensure they didn't have windows on them already.

I won't be home till Sunday though.

Cheers! Have a look when you get a chance, no hurries. I'm testing the waters, as it were...

Honestly, I think I'd rather have myself a 747-100 or 200 for this livery but uhhhh....  I have the 400, I DON'T have the others. Which is the old Airfix kit? That's either a 100 or 200, right?

I may wind up waiting to get one of those anyway but I'm curious to see what may be around.

PR19_Kit

Yes, the Airfix kit is a 100/200, but with that ULTRA thick fin and the missing wing fairings it always looks wrong to me.

That early Revell 747, which I think you already have, is a far better kit.

Good to know... I really shouldn't buy any more 747s in 1/144 anyway. If I really want it, I can find a 100/200 in a smaller scale. Hasegawa does the 1/200 and Zhengdufu makes one in 1/300. Using the 747-400 for this livery is a "if all else fails option" because I'd much prefer a 100/200 It's just finding one...
