OMG... it's so glorious!!!  I can not be tempted, now, I need to focus!!    ;D ;D    I'm going to get my Saul Bass stuff first then I can think of the others.

God, I love that scheme, though...      I have the old 747 with interior and it comes with that livery but I don't know how viable those transfers are..

;D

Oh yes, that later United scheme is SUPERB!

I've never found a decal set of that scheme in 1/144 for the 747, although Flying Colours do it for the DC10, 727 and 737. Maybe it would take up too much decal paper for a 747?

Actually, looking at the DC10 sheet I rather fancy that, and I do have a small 'collection' of DC10s.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

One of my two 1/72 747's came with this decal sheet, only the windows came on a separate sheet.  Only I'm not going to use them, one will be a shuttle carrier (with shuttle) and the other will be a YAL-1

Wanted, quite strongly, the Tamiya 1/100 KV-107 in civil airlines markings (New York Airways and Pan Am).  Besides the kit itself, I'm also interested in getting a copy of the instructions, particularly the markings guide portion.

See here, box art, instructions, marking guide, decals, sprues etc.
The full size images are pretty clear:

Managed to find that Tamiya kit on Ebay and now have it in secure custody.  Very nice, includes markings for Kwasaki's demonstrator as well as New York Airways and Pan Am.  Really tempted to do a 1/72 whif of an civil on in Chicago Helicopter Airways markings; it's a comparatively simple scheme and the company's logo would fit well on the tall rear rotor pylon.

Thats the original mould that was produced from 1962 to 2011.

Thanks.

Also, i'd really like to get my hands on a ball turret from the belly of a B-17 or B-24.
1/72 scale please.

Thank you.

I can have a look at Telford and see if there's an old He III going dirt cheap if you want mate ?

I can probably come up with a ball turret from a B-24, I'm converting one of the B-24s I have into a Coastal Command ASW where the turret was replaced by a retractable radome (it'll have the RP racks too). I'll have to look for it though so I'll get back to you later when I've found it (which could be later in the week)
