That's looking really good Fred, can't wait to see the colour scheme now.

Me too.  I have no idea what colour to paint it.
Something simple probably as I don't want to hide the shape of this one.
As it's a carrier based aircraft i'll need to google post war Soviet naval aviation colours.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

I just googled "soviet naval aviation" and in the first row of images got Dizz's MiG SK with his Su-18 in the second row.

Looks like the MeKo 7 will be a dirty grey/blue over a duck eggy/sky shade.

Now I get it, brings it all together and looks truly magnificent
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

More PSR (wing roots).

But once that is done the stabilising floats can go on and then its time for paint.

Stab floats on, mast pivot flanges attached and painting commenced with Duck Egg Green on the underside.

This is a weird camo for an underside: green like the sky? on which planet will this fly? ;) ;D

RAF day fighters during WWII and RN aircraft way into the 60s used Duck Egg Green as an underside colour.

Usually called Sky Type S in those circumstances.
