- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The pic is so huge I can only see the nose (and I've got a 32" monitor)

Yep, I am struggling with that too Author, perhaps if you halved the size of the pics we can see it as it looks like an interesting project.

Clicking on the picture shows it scaled to the screen, and it definitely looks original.

Good tip  I'll have to remember that one.

Now I can see it in all it's glory, superb idea.

Got a question, are you going to keep the guns ?

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I can see it loads better now, that looks brilliant, could be a carrier based interceptor, armed with 1960's era air to air missiles

The name truly suits it.

The RAF crews really did call their Javelins 'Flat Irons' in service and you can see why too.

Indeed, Kit. I've heard about the pilots calling it that, think it was in some documentary or something. Not one of my favorite designs but it is an interesting plane anyway and, i think the swing wing makes it even more interesting.
