Thanks Jon.  I thought you might know.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

It's an impressive building to wander round in.

The build is - slowly - going on.
Wing have been brought to the new span, some PSR, ailerons re-scribed where necessary.
I had to lengthen the flaps and install some new actuators (or what they are) on the "new" wings. Sorry, the photos didn't come out well.

Now the wing halves have been glued together, not yet glued to the fuselage, some more cleaning up is required.

Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

That's looking better and better.

You may have inspired me to get on with my monoplane Heyford too.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

If one of the moderators could be so kind to move the topic in the Projects/aircraft section, I'd like to continue with this build as a RAF GB spin-off. Decided upon using Matchbox's He-115 floats, will have to wash the model as it has gotten quite dusty.

Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

NARSES2

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Old Wombat

Looks like it should be quite an interesting build.

There's a rather daunting list of place-names beginning with "Haitch", just in England.  It's not really a matter of finding one, but of thinning the herd, so to speak.

I rather like "Holsworthy", myself - seems fitting for a torpedo bomber.  :)
If torpedoes were made in Hampton, then the name "Hampton Loade" might be a good'un.   ;)
What about "Hanging Stone"?
"Hartburn"?
"Heavitree"?
"Herons Ghyll"?  (Sorry - this one's so bizarre-sounding, it might as well be "Reindeer Paws" ...  )

Sorry - it's just there's so many names that catch my eye ...
I  went here <http://www.ukwebindex.co.uk/townandvillage/England/H/>

don't I recognize Airfix Ju-52 floats in the box?

I used Henfield for my Heyford based Triplane.

Yes, but they did look too old, so square, didn't look right.I decided to sacrify an He-115, that will be a land-based record plane.   ;)

Holsworthy, to an Australian, speaks of the Army, as the main Army base in Sydney is Holsworthy Barracks (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holsworthy_Barracks).

What about Hartlepool, which is a coastal town in County Durham, England (perfect for a floatplane ;)).
