I heard the first public performance of that song by the band "Redgum" at the Bridgewater Pub in the Adelaide Hills after the 1983 Ash Wednesday Bushfires in a benefit concert for the victims of the fires.   You could hear a pin drop after they finished before the place erupted in applause.   I still find it very moving, today.
