As there's no wants list yet...

Looking out for
Contrail Warwick (I'd like to do a transport one)
Matchbox (or the Revell rebox) Wellington (want to do a GR one in the colours worn by the ASR Lancs in the Med).  The Trumpeter Wellington GR is also a possible basis and I'm kicking myself now that I passed up that one at Bolton!

Cheap Heller Spitfire XVIe kits - black or phototop boxings - as donor kits.

Well I've done my shopping list, mainly so I don't forget the sundries I need. It's a right pain not having a model shop withing 30 or so miles  :banghead: Just need to set the alarm for about 5:15am tomorrow now.

See certain people in the pub tomorrow, t'others at show Sunday

Is the show at the new leisure centre as for last year? Also is it close to the station as my car is acting the tw*t?

Yes, it's at the New Leisure Centre. Train station is 1/2 mile away and a 10 min walk according to Google Maps. There's also a bus service.

That'll be the RAILWAY station then..............

The Wooksta!

It may get invaded by a wing of Spitfires if Tyneside is oversubscribed.  I've a feeling quite a few members will be at the show.

Well that was rather splendid - sold a lot of kits, bought a lot of kits, and had a large number of excellent conversations.

Some really interesting models to see, the particular standout being the SIG144 stand which had a Glencoe Rocket Ship in a landing bay diorama, and an almost complete set of all the F.155T submissions (only the English Electric P.8 was missing). Looking at them all modelled together really brings home just how big some of them were, especially the Saro P.187 which dwarfs even the Fairey Delta that actually won the competition. A nice touch was that the Vickers-Supermarine Type 559 had a MUSTARD test vehicle on the end of a booster rocket carried on one of it's over-fuselage missile pylons.

Other highlights included a PERFECTLY ORDINARY country garage on the IPMS Wirral stand that just happened to split open to reveal a nuclear missile silo underneath it, and a Eurofighter Typhoon painted up in Angel Interceptor markings.

They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

You'll just have to wait for Chris to upload his.
