Put any Ikea furniture together lately?  No words whatsoever on their instructions.  Designed to be misunderstood in any country worldwide.

Indeed!  But EQUALLY misunderstood throughout the world

It  means that you read  the instruction sheet

Off Amazon and at a decent price (but not under Black Friday sales AKAIK) an Italeri 1/72 G.222 transport aircraft.

May form the basis for the long postponed DH-129 STOVL Transport that would be smaller brother to my HS-681, as I managed to find an original brochure for the type at SMW

So that was what you were proudly showing in the photos on SPF

I've got one of those G.222 kits too, and the C-27J Spartan

Nah that was the P141 brochure and the 1/24th DH128 & HS P1152 drawings that had me grinning  ;D

Went into the LHS (Toy World) just to see what they had & walked out with a 2nd 1/35 Tamiya PBR 31 Mk.II "Pibber" to add to the stash (more expensive than on-line but I like to keep them moving through some of their stock occasionally).

I wanted to buy their Tamiya 1/35 Marder 1A2 MICV, too, but there was no price tag on it & the girl at the counter had no idea, so I left it (especially when she said "$59?").

Man, I haven't been in here for a long time! Feels weird.

To celebrate the end of my venesection treatment (Google it!) for haemochromotosis I decided to treat myself with a kit I've had my eye on for ages, the latest boxing of Airfix's 1/48 Hawker Fury biplane. As a happy coincidence this boxing includes decals for the aircraft I wanted to model, Duxford's K5674/G-CBZP. The kit's been in the shop so long you can feel the dust on the lid!

Good buy!

So, you're a blood donor for vampires!

I'm hoping vampires are involved: for some reason the blood taken from patients like me is just destroyed! We can't even donate it because the NZ Blood Service is a separate entity...very odd. You'd think people low in iron could take it!

And yes, I'm pleased I was able to snag the Fury, even if the box was emptier than I was expecting. I'm not as much of a Fury fan as a Hind one, but as there's none available for now the Fury will do.

I'm banned from giving blood because I lived in the UK during the Mad Cow Disease period in the late 80's.
I don't know why they can't take it and keep it only for those for whom a hole in the brain wouldn't matter - politicians for example...

And a lovely moulding it is too, one of Gordon's best. Not that he ever did bad ones so far as I know.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage

Ah, but were they ? ;) I was banned from giving blood because of the medication I'm on so I said, semi seriously , "can't you find someone on the same levels as me ?". After she finished laughing she suggested there weren't that many on those levels. It has since been reduced, a lot

Meanwhile from the Big H a Trumpeter 1/72 T-28 Medium tank (riveted) simply because the whole concept of multi turret designs fascinates me.

When ordering this I was very tempted by their 1/72 E-75 Panzer. Tanks ? Am I ill ?
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Ditto on the multi-turret tanks, a 1/35th injection moulded Independent
would be tempting.

The silly Ratte would be cooler with the big naval turret replaced with
smaller 17 cm gun turrets, or a mix of 17cm and one high angle mounting
of a Karl-GĂ«rat 041 54cm mortar. With a proper superstructure in between,
of course, along with smaller "defensive turrets", and a massive amount of
AAA.
;D

As to the second question, yes.  ;D
