It's a shame the Vautour doesn't come with an extended rocket-pack isn't it? You can pick up various missiles for it aftermarket, but having all those RPs hanging would makes for a very impressive display.

I'm thinking of giving mine longer wings...........  ;) ;D

Long straight ones, perchance? It would be a bit like a French equivalent of the Mandrake version of the Yak-25...

Ebay says I've won a Trumpeter Wellington III at a reasonable price.  And another Matchbox one.

The Matchbox one will end up as a transport one, but probably with the ventral pannier off a Warwick when I cast it.

Finally succumbed to one of the Revell M 109's in 1/72nd scale, this will belong to Honduras, as they have a gap that needs filling in their self propelled gun department. I have built a Palladin, one Panzerhaubitze, my kit bask styr/ M1 spg and have another couple of the Panzerhaubitze 's to build then that's their lot.

Picked up another Trumpeter 1/72nd Chinook CH-47A together with another Airfix Phantom FG1

Hasegawa 1/72 F-106 Delta Dart.  I wanted a Trumpeter kit, but settled for the older kit as there was a £20+ difference...
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Flippin' Ada, are you telling me Hasegawa was £20 cheaper than the opposition ?  ;) Times they are a changing  ;D
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Amazing eh?  I don't think they'd have the slightest chance of selling it if it wasn't reasonably priced, but it's alright for it age and what I want to do with it.

Ironically I'd held off getting one, waiting for the new kits but the prices made me :o.

I wonder if we've got to a point where the quest for detail is starting to put the prices out of reach.  I know there's a whole bunch of other factors but I struggle to afford a mid-sized 1/72 kit these days.

1/72 Hasegawa F-106 dates from 1969.  There have been many boxings over the years.  $AU 10 would be a fair price.
Like a fool I bought the limited edition 2013 combo F-102/F-106 boxing and paid about $AU 60 about 4 years ago.

Possibly Mossie, given, I assume, the cost of tooling increases with the more detail you add ? People read magazine reviews and their level of expectation goes up ?
