This is the first or MAYBE second time in all my decades that USPS has damaged something coming to me but that doesn't excuse the poor packaging. Apparently it wasn't sealed and there wasn't a single scrap of "stuffing" in the there. Just the kit box inside the mailing box. That would be fine because with that type of impact the "Stuffing" would likely not have helped and being "empty air" might have actually been the best thing for this type of deal. STILL, I rather like when my boxes are un-smashed especially when they started out that way. 

All that said.. this is supposed to be a pretty neat kit! I plan, eventually to print out my own transfers for this one to get a custom scheme based upon Magic: The Gathering.

Some of the newer mechanics are confusing to me but still....  ton of fun. In fact, I've been thinking for the last few days or so about getting some decks together, updating the ones I have, and going down to the shop to swill beer and play cards.

Used to play it a lot some 10/15 years ago but then i started the band and nighttime had been dedicated to music till i started modelling again...
Would have to get updated on the whole game, too much has changed. But it is fun, for sure. I had a crew that would have 7/8 hour sessions at our local bmx clubhouse.

First stash addition of 2018, Academy's KAI T-50 Trainer, will be a PoAF bird, replacement for the Alpha jets. In fact, i believe it's something we could see becoming a reality in a few years. The Alpha jets are being retired from active service in about a week from now and no replacement has been procured so far. Maybe in a couple of years or so, they'll buy some trainers instead of sending pilots to other countries for training, as it will be for the foreseeable future...
Couldn't resist the urge and since it doesn't need glue, i've quickly assembled the kit while at my band's studio after rehearsal... must say i'm impressed, excellent detail for a quick assembly kit, even more so for it's price, around 10€. And nothing of big gaps to fill, although it may need some adjusting of the locating pins so they fit in place with some slack to allow for fine tuning after glue is applied. I think it's a nice kit for the price and should be fun to mess around with. Not sure if i'll try scratching up the landing gear bays like Dizzy did...



Still waiting for a Hasegawa 1/48 Mitsubishi F-2A, now a few days past it's estimated delivery date... Guess i'll wait till the end of the week and then if it hasn't been delivered, looks like i'll be asking for a refund once again...

First of the year and it's a doozy.
I paid far too much for this (about what i'd expect to pay if Hasegawa ever re-pop them*) on Evil-Bay.  Because they never turn up for sale here and because someone else was keen on it.
Of course the seller then tells me has has a second one to sell...
But it IS one of my holy grails.  It comes with an aircraft tractor.
