Glorious!!! I've been trying to find one of those for a while now... well, one that doesn't cost an arm and a leg that is.

A light haul from the Huddersfield show:

Italeri B-57B
Mr Surfacer 500
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Time for my Huddersfeild additions, Helicopter heavy this time..................

Airfix Westland Puma HC-1.
Heller AS330 Puma.
Revell NH-90NFH (navy version).
Dragon Westland Commando HC-4.
Fujimi Boeing-Vertol KV-107II-5 Shirasagi.
Fujimi F-4K Phantom FG-1. (two of) At £15 each, a steal compared to the cost of an Airfix kit.
S & M Models BAC Canberra B-2.

Brother Narses asked me why I seem to be hooked on Helicopters of late. Its simple.
They are easier to transport to and from the gatehouse, when im working on them.
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

The Wooksta!

#246
I struggled to buy things - there was plenty there but nothing I really wanted or desperately needed - and what I did get was because it was cheap or now long gone.

Novo Airspeed Oxford (only 2 quid and part started with some detail work done in the cockpit)
Eduard Spitfire mk IXe
Magna DH Dove/Devon/Sea Devon (cheaper than an Amodel one and the 728 Sqn markings in it were donated to a very grateful Tony o'Toole)
Sword Spitfire Vc (nearly missed this one and they are getting harder to find...)
Trumpeter Wellington B.X
Skybirds 86 DH Hornet F.1 (again, one I missed but spotted by EKFG)

And ebay says I've won another Revellobox Wellington.

Nah, luck of the draw H, luck of the draw.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Just arrived, for a future Area 88 / mercenary aircraft project

Disney character nail decals  ;D
on the bench:

-all kinds of things.

From Mr. Bungle, on Thursday morning arrived x3 Airfix Supermarine Spitfire Vc.
Thus, reducing the insulation of his spare room, and adding to mine.
(Still resisting the subliminal messages to purchase more off the list!) ;D

And today, from mjw models in the UK, AZ Models 'Joy Pack' of 3 Spitfire Mk.IX/Mk.XVI.(AZM7706)
Ordered Friday afternoon, arrived first thing Monday morning.
This cost the same, including p+p, as an Airfix Spitfire starter set to be delivered to my door from a *local model shop!
Is it any wonder that local shops are a thing of the past here!  :banghead:

*''Local'' is 30 miles away!!!

Dizzyfugu

Just shot another vintage ARII 1:100 VF-1 fighter on ebay, this time an "S" variant.

NARSES2

Got back from Huddersfield yesterday, great day out and a good show

Only 2 kits (I have to get them on the train) but also got the bits and bobs in the way of tools etc I was after

Kits, both 1/72 were.

The new tool Airfix B-25 Mitchell. Looks very nice in the box.

Another Airfix Tomahawk Mk IIB. I want this for a French version in the 3 colour camouflage they used. Working on the assumption that they'd got the ones they ordered. Was reduced form £6.59 to £4.40 but the guy knocked the 40p off after our chat ;D, box is a little battered and someone has had the Airfix Flying Hours token, but otherwise still all sealed up.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.
