Been wanting one of these and finally got one down to a price I could live with:

Neato!! Comes with PE and vac canopy... and maybe other neat stuff. No clue about how it builds or anything but it's nice to have.

certainly not my usual scale but certainly in line with large additions to my collection..........................

This time 1/1 scale.
A 2014 Toyota Avensis 1.8 Estate with loads of gizmos inside. And a boot the size of the avarage aircraft hanger. (thats the trunk to our colonial cousins)

yes the Prius is no more. Its due to be sold by the dealer who took it in part exchange as a taxi to a local firm next week. the fate of most early prius in this area. It was fun to drive, reliable and cheap to run. But was realy beginning to show its age.

I now have to get used to a stick shift again  and road tax............... :banghead:
Cant win em all

You mean we'll be able to hear you arrive and leave now too?

No more 'Stealth OGL'...............  ;D ;)

So does the rest of it.  ;D

Is that version with the clear fuselage side?

IIRC, the YS-11 is a little larger than the Andover/748 overall, but yeah, it's obviously 'not related' to the 748 in the same way the T-2/F-1 is 'not related' to the Jaguar...

One of the guys in club made a pretty passable Andover from a YS11 kit. IIRC the fuselage may be a trifle too narrow, but there's only inches in it.

No it's not, there's some artwork of an AEW version of the Andover, even a carrier version for the Royal Navy.

Also won on eBay;
1/72 built Airfix Avro Vulcan in need of restoration.
1/72 Matchbox Wellington with the resin transport conversion parts.

An 1:72 (C)F-104G from, primarily for the decals, and an F9F-2 (potentially for body donors), both Hasegawa.

Hasegawa don't do a 1/72nd YS-11, theirs is a smaller scale 1/200 ?. The only 72nd YS-11 is by Bandai

Delivered yesterday direct from modelcollect:-

No not a P1000 Ratte but something very much more my cold war era the GLCM - aka the M1014 Tractor unit with the quad BGM-109 Tomahawk cruise missile launch trailer.

Just ordered the Fine Moulds BGM-109 set as that has the missile in tube configuration with booster pack as well as in flight example.

Beat me to it.  The Hasegawa kit is 1/144.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

According to the PAK-20 book, the only 1/72 YS-11 was produced by a Japanese company called Imai who started producing kits in the early 60's. Bandai and Paramount then reboxed it when Imai went out of business in the 80's, although they did try to revive their line in the late 90's but only until 2002.
