I managed to win another 1/200 Revell Boeing SST kit, it's probably the reissue model. If memory serves me right there should be two models inside; swept wing and the other landing/take off position.

Correct, both the original and the re-issue contained both models. The original box lid showed the yellow/black scheme and the re-issue showed the PanAm scheme IIRC.

I popped up to Perth for a bit today to look around the Scottish Nationals as I have not been feeling like being there for the whole two days.

Came away with an Eduard UTI MiG-15 profipack in 1/72

Just won on ebay:
Vlaom DH Albatross "Civilian"

Not that it bothers me which boxing it is because the plastic is the same in both - it's going impressed and in the Temperate Sea Scheme of EDSG and Dark Slate Grey over Azure Blue anyway, possibly with BOAC markings but more likely RAF - but it was still cheaper that the cheapest Buy It Now option on ebay and a considerable saving over what the Lowestoft thieves are gouging.

Unless somebody does Decals for the early BEA Peony scheme?
Also got the Valom Heinkel He119V5 that's the one with floats.
And an eBay win of an Airfix Whitley GR.VII

I'm not sure I've heard that term before.


As far as I know it refers to the colour of the red cheat line used on the aircraft.
The DC3's that were converted to Darts for example had that scheme.

I'm pretty sure I've seen it refered to as such in a book, which I can't find now........
