Love them deals!!  I wish I had a local shop like that. Hobby Lobby discounts things from time to time but I never find cool old wares like those.

Anyway. I got me some stuff, too! 

The X-29 was $8 and change after shipping.. had to snap that up. Sealed even!



One of my favorite planes from me childhood so I dig it. It'll be OOB, though. 


F-16XL!  Yeah buddy! It's been a long time coming but I finally found one for only a few cents over my budget. Got it for $35 and change after shipping. No instructions, though....     box kind of ratty, too, but all the stuff inside is in great shape.




This next one... I'm not sure what the hell went down. Box top is half shredded and torn to hell and a piece of the side part was missing. Odd thing is, the factory applied round sticker things they seal the box with were all intact.     It's like.... a little kid opened it or something??? Surely anyone with any sense at all would have simply sliced through those round sealing-stickers and lifted the box top off instead of ripping it apart?!    The picture doesn't even show the extent of the "rippage."    Oh well... everything is fine, though, as it is not missing any parts (and the transfers are really nice!!) .     $26 and change after shipping. Good deal in my opinion! I'll take them shredded box tops and missing instruction kits all day long for discounts. 




That'll likely be about all aside from maybe a kit or two for the coming week or more. Plenty of funds coming in from mowing billions of lawns but the bills are creeping in once again.

Revell Handley Page Victor.  Every time I look at a Victor I see a space ship.
Hasegawa MV22B Osprey (thus ensuring the V/STOL etc option will not win the GB vote).  I have many many ideas for this.  Most of them not involving the fuselage.
Airfix FW-190 A8.  Yet to be determined whiff fodder for $5.
And this.  Also $5.  I have no idea what it is but it is begging to be scaleorama'ed into the one true scale.

It appears to be some sort of Thunderbird2esque craft.  It has two different sausage shaped yellow pods which it carries in its belly and which can be dropped.  One has wheels and the other has both wheels and a water propeller.  It also doesn't look as good as it does in the box art.

I also won a couple of kits (this year kits replaced trophies).

I've got a whole series of those Zero-Tester kits. Like you say, it seems to be a just-different-enough-to-not-be-sued Thunderbirds rip-off.

Friday arrived my Pegasus hobbies ISU-152, ordered on impulse after watching a victory parade in Russia where there was one in the parade. Decided the two in the kit can be upgraded and stuck in Cartel service as self propelled artillery, possibly used to protect a coastal base from assaults from the sea or just mobile artillery. I will up gun and up armour one of them and leave the other very near standard I think
