I deliberately didn't assume it was one store, because I thought "no way". Was it self checkout or did you give a check-out operator a bit of a surprise ?  ;)

I didn't take them all out in one go - a batch of five, an agent procured another 6 and I bought the final 14 on sunday.

2 x 1/72nd Folland Gnat simple sets (no box or decals)
1 x 1/72nd Fouga Magister simple set (no box or decals)

From Brad C I today received an Airfix Fokker F-27 Friendship.  It's the 2008 repop with decals for TAA and two other airlines.

I am thinking the TAA decals might look good adapted to a Skyvan.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I thought it was a really nice kit! Those transfers are glorious.  :wub: 

I'm going to buy one one of these days but I'm going down a notch to 1/144 so it can reside with the rest of them (civil/airliners) I've started building/buying.
