Snagged a lot for $45 after the shipping. I lost this one then the person who won didn't pay. As soon as I saw the feedback I sent ol' boy a message and offered him $9 more for the wares and he agreed. Not bad!

Also, a couple days ago I rec'd some transfers for my ATR 72 from Nazca. Now I can model the planes I saw fly over ever day for years.  This is a pet project of mine. It's going to be a ton of fun building my "home town" plane. American Eagle!

I am thinking the TAA decals might look good adapted to a Skyvan.

Or maybe a Beverley...........  ;D

I don't have a Bev.  I do have the Skyvan though.  And a Heron, a YS11, a Boxcar, a Pembroke and a Stratofreighter - all of which would look good in TAA colours.

Another airliner!

This one is cool....  Really neat engines and this is an older boxing so it comes with all the window glass which is great because I can glue that in then I don't have to fill in all the windows; just skim coat filler over it all and sand it smooth. The newer boxings don't come with the window plastic.

Also, it came with extras!! Doors and windows transfers from ATP and also the wing spars. Now those are EXTREMELY handy because of the corogaurd pattern... the "snaggle tooth" looking stuff there. Who wants to mask all that??!

I talked ol' boy down to $30 (free shipping!) for it all and while that's a moderate chunk of change, I'm pleased as punch about it.

Also, a PM T-38 that I should have done research on before I bought.  :banghead:   The box and everything looks really nice so I guess that distracted me and it was less than $10 total so I'm not too torn up about it but it's yet another F-5B wearing sheeps clothe from what I can gather and it was merely a copy of the old Matchbox model!  :o :o   I'm still trying to get my hands on the Sword T-38 in 1/72 which is "pretty much" the only one that is an actual T-38 instead of an F-5B but they are hard to find.

From Brad C I today received an Airfix Fokker F-27 Friendship.  It's the 2008 repop with decals for TAA and two other airlines.

I am thinking the TAA decals might look good adapted to a Skyvan.

Idea?

Hmmmm, yeah.  That'd work.  Nice logo.
I'm planning some RFDS whiffs into which it could also be fitted.

Bungle

Had a few things given to me by a lady who's husband passed away earlier this year. I maintained their computer for them over the past few years and I knew he dabbled in a few models but he mostly collected the Herpa style display aircraft. Anyway the widow is a technophobe so while I was copying their PC files to her tablet she produced a box of odds and ends.

In it with a note asking me to finish was a part built Revell Audi R10TDI - I haven't made a vehicle kit since an Airfix Triumph Herald about a 20 years ago. It will be done though.

Also in the box an Aurora 'The Wanderer' Whaler 1/87th scale (!)  box part eaten by mice but looks like its all there. Aurora boxes obviously taste better than Heller's  (too much garlic ?) they had a go at a Royal Louis 1/200 th but haven't touched the inner bags.

There were also three 1/350th WWI battleships a Zvezda Borodin, a Crombig Retvizan and a Bronco 'Chih Yuen'. The Combrig looks like a resin kit and while interesting to look over, floaty things don't float my boat, so what to do with them I don't know.

Very good!

It's always nice to hear of stuff like that finding a good home.
