The Education dept. at the Museum of Flight in Seattle received a donation of model kits.
Not knowing what to with them they contacted our Northwest Scale Modelers group,
we meet at the museum the first Thursday of each month and put on a two-day
model display every February, to see if we had any ideas. The decision was made to
offer them to the group this past Thursday at a suggested donation of $5 each with
all of the proceeds going to the education fund.

The few leftovers were taken to the IPMS-Seattle meeting yesterday, most of those went
fairly quickly the last half-dozen rough remainders were then offered at $1 each, which
is what I paid for the Pioneer 2 DC-2.

My total outlay came to $37.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Droooool!  :o

The Aeroclub Sherpa is as rare as hen's teeth and as for the two X-Craft, wowee! I've got a Seagul and it's a super kit, but I've never seen the 508 before.

Found myself in Marple today so I called in on the toy shop which usually only has a selection of full RRP Airfix stuff. However, to my surprise, they've obviously started using a bigger/better wholesaler and now have a range of Italeri stuff in, some of which is very reasonably priced. I picked up the following whiffy things:

1/72nd MiG 37B Ferret E (the totally fictitious Soviet stealth fighter) £10
1/72nd RAH-66 Commanche £7

I've got that 508 in the stash, one of the few vacforms. Is it that rare ?

I've also got the Whirlybird Seagull, which will get built one day  :banghead:
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Not sure if the 508 is really rare, but I've never seen one in kit form, and only one built, by the guy that always has loads of experimental stuff at the Cosford show.

Bags of Whiffing scope for it, including not having any landing gear, as that was its original design brief.  :o

Just because no one has reported a sighting of it, how can you be sure it is fictitious!
