Good score The Chaos.

It is indeed and an eclectic one

I've been looking at those Modelcollect kits of the various E Panzers at shows and am sorely tempted

Unless those V1's have different engines, the launch ramp on the tank isn't anywhere near long enough for successful launches .
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Steel Penguin

back from Hanslope and the small space event
a 2nd hand box of space marines some of the original 80s plastics, and lead heavy weapon troops, and some of the mixed metal body's plastic arms ones.  at a good price
and a century castings Liberator teleport bracelet,  ;D
the things you learn, give your mind the wings to fly, and the chains to hold yourself steady
take off and nuke the site form orbit, nope, time for the real thing, CAM and gridfire, call special circumstances.
wow, its like freefalling into the Geofront

I'm still toying as to buy their Federation rifle...

Bought an ICM Fw-189A from a superb model shop in Salisbury for my RAF 100 GB build.

No, it won't look ANYthing like an Fw-189 when it's done.  ;) ;)
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Two words.
Ram Jet.

Or am I nit picking?

Good score The Chaos.

A ram-jet powerplant would require even more forward speed than a pulse-jet
for sustained flight. Either case would need a brace of booster-rockets with
the ram-jet requiring boosters more powerful than the pulse-jet. No sign of
boosters in that pic and, as Robert pointed out, the launch rail is far too short,
too small.

It's their E-100 Rheintocher kit with a V-1 sprue added, instructions and sprue
shots show the Rheintocher still in the box.

Got back from Paris-Le Bourget air and space museum with this in my luggage.

Went to see the museum and was suspecting that there would be a shop there, just like there is one at the PoAF's Museum here in Portugal. The shop at the air and space museum at Le Bourget has a good selection of models and prices are not too high. Very good books on the shelves and plenty of souvenirs for all.

Why not make a booster out of the Rheintochter then?

The owner's very knowledgeable and a great bloke too. A large variety of kit manufacturers, not just the main-line stuff.

It'd still require either an extended launch rail, to stabilize the V-1, or a ZELL setup
using only the rear half of the Rheintocher.

As the V1 required a boost to get it up to flight speed that's about the only way you can go with it.

Grabbed an RS Models Ki-87 at my LHS - at EUR 15,- not really cheap, but online these kits go for 20,- p. p., so I could not resist. Goes into the stash for now.
