May form the basis for the long postponed DH-129 STOVL Transport that would be smaller brother to my HS-681, as I managed to find an original brochure for the type at SMW

Went into the LHS (Toy World) just to see what they had & walked out with a 2nd 1/35 Tamiya PBR 31 Mk.II "Pibber" to add to the stash (more expensive than on-line but I like to keep them moving through some of their stock occasionally).

I wanted to buy their Tamiya 1/35 Marder 1A2 MICV, too, but there was no price tag on it & the girl at the counter had no idea, so I left it (especially when she said "$59?").

As a happy coincidence this boxing includes decals for the aircraft I wanted to model, Duxford's K5674/G-CBZP. The kit's been in the shop so long you can feel the dust on the lid!

I'm hoping vampires are involved: for some reason the blood taken from patients like me is just destroyed! We can't even donate it because the NZ Blood Service is a separate entity...very odd. You'd think people low in iron could take it!

And yes, I'm pleased I was able to snag the Fury, even if the box was emptier than I was expecting. I'm not as much of a Fury fan as a Hind one, but as there's none available for now the Fury will do.

Meanwhile from the Big H a Trumpeter 1/72 T-28 Medium tank (riveted) simply because the whole concept of multi turret designs fascinates me.

When ordering this I was very tempted by their 1/72 E-75 Panzer. Tanks ? Am I ill ?

Ditto on the multi-turret tanks, a 1/35th injection moulded Independent
would be tempting.

The silly Ratte would be cooler with the big naval turret replaced with
smaller 17 cm gun turrets, or a mix of 17cm and one high angle mounting
of a Karl-Gërat 041 54cm mortar. With a proper superstructure in between,
of course, along with smaller "defensive turrets", and a massive amount of
AAA.
