Moderator needed

Right I have one ~~victim~~ volunteer to moderator the Cold War GB which is due to run from 1/3/18 to 31/5/18 - Zenrat - and now I'm looking for a second.

What does it entail ? In all honesty it is not onerous. There will be a little bit of "work" during the set up stage (I will do all the necessary setting up on site) mainly involving the fielding of a few questions, then during the GB itself you may once again have to field the odd question. After granting the inevitable extension

there is then the organising of the Poll, but that's about it and I am always there in the background to help out. Also please note that being a moderator does not bar you from entering the GB yourself as it's intended to be fun.

So any volunteer ?

Sorry, not for the cold war GB as I usually try to enter that one. Other than that I may give it a go.

I'll volunteer since:

a) I intend to sit this one out since I need to do real-world stuff

b) If i really can't resist, there's a Cold War GB happening on Twitter in about the same timeframe

Right thanks Gents, we now have our Moderators so I can start sorting the details out with them during the week.

One point though. Can I reiterate that being a Moderator does NOT exclude you from taking part.

Moderators are sorted - Weaver and Zenrat - thanks gents.

I'll be PM'ing them with my initial thoughts during the course of this week and we will move on from there.

If as a Moderator you still felt uncomfortable with the idea of taking part, then you could simply exclude yourself from the Poll of course. After all you'd be setting it up.
