Bit more work today.

Ski bay detail.

Rear strut position- this is just a scrap piece of sprue to determine location- will use an oleo strut.

Skis in retracted position.

That's looking decidedly plausible.

Thanks guys.

Needed to be a bit more boat like in the stern.  Framing it up.

Well, well, F-15 radome in 1970's "air-superiority blue" a near perfect fit.  Extra strakes to reduce the spray going down the intakes.

Coming along very nicely Dave.
Will it get a water rudder?

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Will it get a water rudder?

Yes, water rudder in the works.  Have read that was pretty essential on the Sea Dart.

But as Kit suggests putting one Avon into full reheat would likely create a bit of yaw  ;)

Whew, lots of work to get this far....

Yep.  Second that.

I can see it in mostly off white with some large navy blue panels and lots of stencils.  Tail in red with a large emblem of some sort.
