Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The wheels can be at either end.
The bonnet is always at the front.
Also there are only windows at one end.
There are no good kits, bad kits or grail kits, just kitbash fodder.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

The hood is little, red and used for riding.

Another great work of traditional literature!  I like the Roald Dahl version, especially the denouement  "She was not scared, but from the leg of her knickers, pulled a machine gun made by Vickers.  So when you meet her be pleased to note, her VENTILATED wolfskin coat"
"If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you....."
It  means that you read  the instruction sheet

I concur. Calling it a 'hood' is misleading: it makes it sound as though your car is about to mug you, when in fact, that's your car dealer's function.

We Australians (well, those of us not corrupted by American TV shows & movies) refer to bonnets & boots, rather than hoods & trunks, when referencing the front & rear opening panels of sedan motor vehicles (tailgate is used for the up/down hinged access panels on utes, stationwagons, vans, etc.; boot & hatch are interchangeable for hatchbacks).
Has a life outside of What-If & wishes it would stop interfering!

But we also say muffler, not silencer and truck not lorry.

It's grand that I know what you all are referencing. Let's not forget "torch" for "flashlight", "lift" instead of "elevator" etc.
"Mind that bus." "What bus?" *SPLAT!*

You also, apparently, say 'stationwagon' instead of 'Estate Car'.

Things I've noticed from Youtube:

UK coriander = US cilantro
UK aubergine = US eggplant
UK courgette = US zucchini
UK chips = US fries (steak fries)
UK crisps = US chips
UK washing-up bowl = US tub

UK: 'solder' is pronounced soul-der
US: 'solder' is pronounced sodd-er

UK: 'herbs' is pronounced Herbs
US: 'herbs' is pronounced 'erbs

UK: "Y'alright?" = "Hello, how are you?"
US: "Y'alright?" = "Are you hurt or do you need help?"

UK: 'cup' = any opaque drinking vessel smaller than a 'mug'
US: 'cup' = precisely defined unit of measure for cooking purposes = 236ml

This is very confusing for UK cooks:

US recipe: "...and add half a cup of flour..."
UK cook: "but how big's your cup and how am I supposed to judge half of it? Give me the damned weight!"
