Just a heads up that its the Nuremberg Toy Fair next week.

We have already seen a lot of announcements for 2018 so far although the pickings have been rather limited so far especially for the main stream producers. We'll probably find out what Italeri & Heller have in store amongst the old guard  companies although Italeri is still to fulfill past years announcements. We may see some of the 3D printed prototypes or even test shots of some of the already announced kits.

Still going AFAIK, they repopped the AWACS and Boeing 707 last year, and various other regular kits are being issued, new items seem to be 24th scale cars with the Ferguson Tractor being the most recent.

Heller went into administration in 2015, and was purchased by Maped SA in 2016.

Good news that Heller is apparently bringing back the 1:72 Lansen in 2018.

The Draken would be nice, too...

Looks like Ark Models are doing an Injection moulded Soviet Buran Space Shuttle, a rather tasty Project Cancelled subject. I'm guessing the scale is 1/144 as the other picture of the artwork doesn't have a scale and no other models in the foreground that can be used to estimate size.

Still its nice to see and would look interesting alongside a US Space Shuttle, attached to a Space Station or atop a Myra
