Ah, I must have missed that, thanks.

I bet it's not cheap though. :(

Anigrand do them too, in 1/72. But only a couple of days ago I pulled out my 1/72 Combat Models vacuforms of the two C-141 variants, needed to look at the wing for a project I have in mind.

As an aside, Combat Models is no more at the moment, the owner retired and hasn't found a buyer for the business.

£28 at Hannants.

They're not claiming it as a discount as such, but some of the A&A stuff seems to be reasonably priced at Hannants at the moment. For instance, they're selling the HA-300 and the Mirage IV for around £23 while most other outlets have them at nearer £30. There's a lot of plastic in that Mirage IV!

And that Mirage IV is SUCH a good looking aeroplane!

I have the Mirage IV in the stash.  Looks excellent in the box.

I also have their Lavochkin La-200b which is anything but a good looking aeroplane.

If I didn't have two Heller Mirage IVs in The Loft already I'd be sorely tempted too.

I'm in exactly the same situation: want it but can't justify it.  :banghead:

Now the Ha-300 on the other hand...   The problem there is that I'm scared I'll want another one, and another one...
It's effectively a cheap supersonic Gnat so imagine how many places it could have been sold to if it was being built on a less shaky footing...

This is the downside of getting my modelling mojo back to an extent: I'm being tempted again: damn this self-evaporating 'money' stuff!  :banghead:

I've given that some thought before, but not yet come up with a suitably elegant answer....  ;)

if you did a cranked delta like the Drakken then you could end up with longer wings

That was the way I was thinking, but it looked somewhat bizarre when I sketched it.

More thoughts needed.

That would add more area, and span too, but it'd lose the Mirage IV's essential elegance.

I think you'd have to be more subtle about it, to make it look "right."

Perhaps some dog-teeth added to the leading edge, to extend the area whilst keeping the angle of the leading edge?
Here's my quick attempts at it, and you're right - the "Draken" wing doesn't really look as if it belonged ... the Dogteeth are marginally better, but if I'm honest - Dassault got it right the first time.  :)
