A lot of scenes from CFB Borden. They filmed this when we were kids. Great fun to watch them blow stuff up, I remember the the car blowing up atop a hill we used to toboggan on, and they towed that T-33 around !

I remember watching this movie on video way back in the late 1980s.  What insterested me was where it was filmed.  I couldn't identity the city with it's mix of European and North American architectures.  I think found it was filmed in Ottawa.   Most interesting, particularly the Centurions without their turret bins.  Made them look quite different.

I have always wondered where that was as well. I was always guessing Europe, as in a lot of the scenes the armour shown looks like the operational stuff we would have had overseas. The Cents and all green Deuce's are the trainers from Borden
