Does anybody know of any 1/72 Rolls-Royce Vulture Engines?  By this, I mean the cowling, rather than the engine body, itself.  I have a plan and I need several of these.  Something like used on the Manchester...

Planet Models does a resin Manchester (complete kit) and I've got one in the stash. Are you in a rush for the parts Brian ?  The nacelles I've heard have a bit of a fetish involving rubber ---  only I have to get some supplies first.

I've a feeling Martin H may have some cloned from a rough conversion available in the UK.

The Unicraft Blackburn B.20 has a couple included in its package, but I'm not sure I'd want to introduce one of them to my daughters............

The only thing that should be introduced to Unicrap products is the bin, and even then, they're not even fit for that.

Mostly I'd agree, but it's the only B.20 on the block. Eventually I'll do something with it, but it won't have the Vultures for sure!

Apparently, Akatombo has released one too in 2015

That was three years ago, and all the links 404 sadly.

It does look better than the Unicrap version, and the hull is in one piece too!

Gondor

Blackbird do a Manchester conversion set so that has a pair of vultures in the kit, non feathered variety.

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

43 notes to get a pair of engine cowlings is a bit pricy, even if they were in stock.

No great hurry.  This is long term planning, like the Jumo 222.  If by chance your nacelles fell into some rubber that would work exactly right, mate.  Tell me when I can meet you down the Pub and we'll exchange some time and some packages...  ;)

You can't trust these nacelles further than you can throw them.  :banghead:

Try eBay,
I saw a couple of 1/72 Avro Manchester conversion sets for sale, one was just the engines whilst the other included the wings, tail fins and engines.

The Wooksta!

If those are the HBM conversions, avoid.  Badly cast and the resin is horrible.
