This thing is evolving from a stash of kits , one day it has wings then they are gone the next parts come and go lots of staring into the wee hours
I gave up trying to have a back story or even what the frak it is lol
I'm thinking some sort of wheeled terror drone made by insurgents maybe with a nuclear warhead , possible dio

Prize for guessing major components on this one  :o

Looks good.  Like some sort of autonomous/sentient vehicle from a universe like the world of Cars & Planes.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Those disparate parts certainly seem to go well together, that's for sure

Looks like some kind of large howitzer that uses a combination of a gas/liquid propellant ignited by high energy "light" ? I am now way, way out of my depth  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Old Wombat

Definitely parts from the Italeri 1/35 PT Boat Conversion Kit.
Definitely a 1/35 GMC CCKW, probably HobbyBoss.

The rest - not a clue.

Looks oddball enough to be weird.

A bit more last night added a rear bumper and a CROWS weapon system , radar dome and a bit of piping , I have options for missiles may as well chuck them on as well lol

It's either a MATHOM ( a fascinating but useless object often given as a present---see The Hobbit) a 1950's anti-aircraft device, code named RED HERRING, a huge WHEELBARROW (in the bomb disposal sense) or possibly a Whiffworld remote controlled  numpty-boggler.   Whatever it is (or isn't) I continue to enjoy and be intrigued by this construction.

While building my brain has been ticking over :banghead:
* A jet powered remote controlled terrorist type bomb possibly nuclear / hydrogen
* A conventionally powered remote controlled terrorist type nerve gas dispensing unit, gas is stealthily dispensed on the outskirts of a town / base via the 2 rear blower units
Latest thought is a autonomous sentry drone I have found suitable decals and have selected a colour but things may change

Old Wombat

You could put a few big cylinders on it for H2 & O2 which are plumbed to the big white thing-um's at the rear, which become hydrogen fuel cells powering the vehicle & its equipment; the dome at the front gets a couple of robotic arms attached & a hatch for samples; the machine-gun goes & is replaced by a sensor & communications suite; a pair of bi-optic cameras are fitted to the front for navigation purposes; pop on a few extra boxes & probes; maybe some folding solar panels & a lab/testing unit; & you have yourself a heavy-duty robot exploration vehicle.

Who said I wasn't crazy? ;D

Close to what I was going to do I had a radar dish on it and it was looking like a Mars rover , I'm just gonna build it and not try and explain what it is lol the decals will be "out of the box" probably wont make sense but should look hella cool lol

Not too shab, not too shab at all!!!

That's some pretty righteous buildin there. I love the fact that it's Navy.... and blue.

The shape of it reminds me of the old nuclear artillery rifle thingy the Army toyed with in the 50's.
