Very much so, the first glider I ever intentionally stalled. Frightened me to death at first......

Especially women......mind you they still do frighten me  ;)

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Here are the next couple of photos showing how this going.

First, a view of the instrument panels in place with their comings.

Then a view of the undersides just airbrushed.

You want to be careful airbrushing something that small with that high a lift co-efficient: it might take off!  ;)

Well this build is going on hold for a while.
The first reason is that the paintwork has been a disaster. That lovely yellow undersurface was done with Vallejo acrylics, then I masked it for the next colour.
So far so good when I removed the masking tape, good old Tamiya/Kabuki tape, the yellow lifted as well.
I tried to touch it up and that worked, sort of.
Then after a few days, to let it really set, I just rubbed the whole surface with my fingernail.
Almost all the paint came of.
I was to put it mildly, totally guttered.
This was just before the Perth show, and I spoke to two well respected members of the SIG and found out that certainly one of them had also had problems with Vallejo acrylics failing to adhere to plastic.
Now, after some time trying to get my head round this I have decided to use a paint stripper and  get it back to basic plastic and use good old enamels.
So this build is on hold for a few months.
I have ordered the Special Hobbies 1/72 Blanik from the big H, and they will both be done in the same colour scheme. However as that would give the game away for one of the GBs later this year, I say no more.

A vertical take off glider !!  :o
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

The way some winch drivers do their thing at my gliding club I think we've already got that technology.  :o :o

Did you use a primer at all? This is usually one reason acrylics lift from plastic.
