Right here's my latest wif.

Supermarine F.1 Attacker. E (Experimental) Flight, 1846 NAS, HMS Indefatigable, Tokyo Bay, September 1947.

I have got the beginning and ending of a backstory in my brain ; starts off with mickey taking over brandy and cigars in a London Gentleman's Club and ends up in Tokyo Bay, but that's it at the moment. When I fill the details in I'll add them.

It's the AZ Models kit which is an interesting one. AZ produce some superb stuff, their Me 109's are some of the best out there, whilst other's are much more of the traditional "limited run" type. This is one of the later. It requires some work, but providing you take you time it goes together o.k.

The transfers are a bit of a mixture but mainly from the Freightdog Brits at Sea Part 1 – Immediate Post War FAA

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Ooooh, I've got that exact same kit but I've never opened the box yet, perhaps I should.

That looks great, and wholly plausible too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Looks great! And the kit looks to be a much better starting point than the frog kit.

It's a fair build Kit. The wing/fuselage area needs some sorting out but nothing some putty and rigorous sanding can't deal with. The same joint area can also be a bit fragile, I had to re-glue mine twice. So if/when I build my second one I might use epoxy on that area. I enjoyed it

Rheged

It's a lovely model, and I await with interest the backstory, tantalising hints of which have already been given.
