I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Browsing the shelves at Hannants today I found a kit I'd never heard of, and it's a whif in a box.

Granville P-45B "Bee Killer"

Looks like a military version of the Gee Bee serving in the Pacific. Nothing more than an extra resin sprue with guns and a new decal sheet.

I think they do a couple of those.

The R-1/R-2 hybrid would probably be the most logical basis for a Gee-Bee 'R' derived pursuit.

Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

LOL - they announced the FD.2, complete with box art, back in November 2018! See post #11 on this thread. That's taken longer to get here than KSP2!

The FD.2 has now appeared on Hannants website at a reasonable £23.95. Still only a pre-order so don't go getting all excited for Christmas 2023!

I noticed that Nick, one of my favourite aircraft from the period. It just looks so sleek
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Ironically bidding on a cheap Novo one for spares. I still want to do the definitive Fairey Firefox F1.

I will be waiting with hope that this thing actually does come out, and soon. I think one would suit a set of Firestreaks under its wings.

As luck would have it, I'll be taking a 'Christmas short break' in a hotel not a few miles from the Big H next week.  ;D

I'll check on the FD2's availability while I'm there, maybe 2-3 times...................  ;)  ;)
