The P85 was the navalised Defiant which lost out to the Roc. The drawings I found online of the P85 are almost as hideous as the Roc, so my next "Sea Defiant" will have more in common with the Defiant, than the P85! 🤣

I've got a fourth build for this GB on the go now. The others are doing OK, but this one will be a 'paint conversion' with a seriously time warped backstory.   ;D

Naturally it has LONG wings  ;D and this one has two engines as well. No, it's not another PR19.....  ;)

When it gets to the paint stage I'll post some pics, as it's proving a bit of a pain to build, even though it's OOB.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
