As i couldn't see owt, thought i'd gently remind everyone
especially someone whom i owe a Japanese kit to?

Hope i'm not stepping on anyone's toes.
I think I'm gonna need a bigger display cabinet!!

I can't get there this year, darn it, specially as it's my 'local show', only 7 miles away in a straight line! (But there's a gert great river in the way, so it's more like 20 miles by road) :banghead:

I'm doing railway things that weekend up in Crewe, sorry.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Regards
Kit

In that case I'll load an extra box or two to help fill space on the tables. Im baby sitting a load of Geoff B's stuff anyway. so Not all my stuff will be heading to Thornbury.

Well it was bleedin warm in all bar one of the halls. The small "hall" (read room) that the comp was held in had air-con!
Still a good show was had by all. The new catering facilities seemed to work well. You no longer need to climb that flight of stairs, theres a new(ish) little "cafe" set up in hall one.

These cover mainly the sig stand, plus a number of interesting odds and ends from other stands, there was even a whiff on the Cardiff model aircraft club stand! (Kit wont beleave it happened).

Theres even a couple of Choo Choo's on page two, just for Kit.
I always hope for the best.

I can't wait to see the CPAC Whiff, but sadly I can't make the link work OGL.

Even when I'm logged into my own Imageshack account.

I saw it but didn't make the CPAC connection.

That'll have been the Twin Catalina then, very nicely done, but I'm darned if I can imagine who'd have built that amongst our lot. This Whiffness must be contagious.  ;D

Thanks for sharing the pics Martin.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Situation arose and me couldn't make it. Was 70 miles the wrong direction in broiling hot motor!
Hopefully I'll actually make the next one

Thank you Martin.

Some fantastic stuff there. My favourite ? The navalised Whirlwind, gorgeous

I have no idea why, but that twin Catalina makes me think of those big Felixstowe flying boats. The modeller should have painted it in a dazzle scheme  ;)
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Nick

Some amazing stuff on there. I can't imagine that tank ever getting two foot off the ground let alone launching like that!

Puma and Frelon for the RN and RAF, replacing the Sea King no doubt, lots of good ideas there.
