LOVE that big Union Flag under the belly!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

To avoid being shot at by some over zealous ack-ack gunners of the imperial navy?
Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

Cast in the same mould as most Emirates airliners.

I must admit that I can't quite believe how well the lower Union Flag worked. I initially put a much smaller flag on 'across-ways' so that the flag would rise at the aircraft took off over you, but it looked lost. Then this flag was about 2mm too wide to fit across-ways so I rotated it and it just 'fit'. My overall reasoning was that if it works for commercial airlines then as a power projection exercise for the ruler of the largest empire on the world .... Make Way ....Here Comes THE Queen!!!

Useless fact time - if it was a real flag on a real Jumbo it'd be 9.9m (32ft 5.8 in) long and 6.3m (20ft 8in) high!  ;D
