Cut a slit in its nose and mount a red LED in there connected to a small motor so it goes back and forth. :D

Oh, that is so tempting!!!!

It's 'Kitt', with two 't's.................  -_-
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

There are three images of a Bombed up Argentine Air Force C-130 Hercules with what appear to be the Argentine version of the Mk.82 500 pound general purpose bomb on a MER mated to an adapter on the underwing stores pylon of the aircraft.  Definitely not a WHIF but absolutely wonderful to see as it opens up a whole new venue for placing your C-130 model in the fighter and attack aircraft category at your next model show :^)

While this is nothing new, it is graphic proof that you can use to validate your build with images to back it up.  I do recall reading about the MC-130 Combat Talon being able to carry a TER on the wing pylons with bombs of some sort attached but have never seen any images of this ability ever being put to use.  Now that the FAE has demonstrated it can be done, it certainly opens up other options for a maritime patrol aircraft armed with a pair of AGM-84 Harpoon Anti-Ship Missiles or other exotic weapons (^:

I think the US Airforce did a test fire of hell fires from an AC-130 didn't they?
I think an AC-130 armed with these missiles or even Maverick's would look pretty good, or even some AGM-123's fitted.
I am sure this has been spoken about before though hasn't it/

Nice! If Antonov can do it, so can the C-130 :)

I read somewhere that the next AC-130 upgrade will include ability to carry LGBs, AGMs etc. under the wings.

I've actually seen a picture of a Maverick-armed C-130 testbed. Can't remember where, though.

There's a picture of modification inside the cargo bay of an ad hoc bomber C-130 here.
To the individual soldiers, *everything* is a frontal assault!

The RDAF fitted Stingers to a C-130H. It was a one-off conversion, and i only think it flew once before it was removed. It was done as a kind of proof-of-concept, most likely to be used in case the cold war went hot.

Over on ARC, "Murph" linked THIS ARTICLE  on a projected USMC KC-130 armed with Hellfires and 30mm Bushmaster. "Passing gas and kickin' a**!"

I've just translated and double-checked the article below the pictures......

Apparently this is the aircraft that bombed the British Wye, a BP oil tanker heading to the Falklands on 29th May 1982. On 8th June the US oil tanker, Hercules was attacked and had to make an emergency stop in Rio de Janeiro. After an investigation by the Brazilian Navy she was taken back out to sea and scuttled before the unexploded bomb in one of the oil tanks exploded. :o

These claims have been repeated on several other more official websites and books so I don't really doubt them. The Argentines were sued for $12million by the Americans. The weapons pylon is from a Pucara.

Would that make it an EAKC-130J?

I think Soviet cargo planes (An-12s?) dropped FAMs in Afghanistan, and An-26s have also been used in Ethiopia?
