Then try c 130 interior or c 130 walk around. or just c 130 lockheed.
Any of those should work.

See my 'Virtual' Herk thread for the story on this, it's the Italeri -J with the added Flightpath fuselage 'conversion'. [The word 'conversion' here is used in it's WIDEST possible sense.......!]

If that's your Herk interior I'm TOTALLY gobsmacked, never seen anything like that before, except perhaps one of Tony Woollet's masterpieces.

All I actually needed to know was where the rear doors went when they opened ;D as my model will be inside a permament case and only the ramp area and the door, or the opening, will be wholly visible.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Hello All,
No that is not my Kerk kit someone else built that kit on line.
I use to work on C-130s at Lockheed.

This is my long term project  read a few years)The HTTB High Technology Test Bed. The kit is the old Airfix kit released in 1968. The tan parts you can see are from my C-130 kit I purchased in 1968, the white parts from a kit purchased in the late 1970's.

The HTTB is a L100-20 the shorter C-130 extension. Rather than a L-100-30, which C-130 J's are.




I know about the DB/Flightpath fuselage extension conversion it was designed for the Airfix 1968 kit not the Italeri/Airfix/Heller etc. kit; BTW there were 2 molds made for the Airfix/MPC kit.


I am making new engine nacelles utilizing the DB/Flightpath engines which do not work on either kit because they are to thin. However they will work for this conversion, I am rebuilding the engines and exhaust port.

I widened the wing be 2 scale feet added the cambered leading edge and extended blown flaps. I also added A dorsal fin and Horsals.

BTW encore is running all of the bond films her in the U.S. The Living Daylights just finished and the C-130 Interior shots are a C-130H the exterior rear ramp shots  shots are a C-123 Provider.

Thunderball is on now my 2nd favorite Bond film.

I think you'll find the reason why your tail fin looks "off", Batman is 'cause  your fuselage has a twist in it.  I had something similar recently.  I ended up adding thin layers of milliput to opposite top and bottom of the tail section to bring it back into line with the forward fuselage.  Its something subtle but when you put a fin on it, then it becomes obvious.
