Indeed.

So what am I working on still? A stretched vacform York fuselage with de-riveted Shackleton wings, engines and tail...............  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Why do I do this to myself I wonder?
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Thinking that it's time the Venom T3 re-appeared at a show (it's only had one public appearance...) and the Avon Show is tomorrow, I dug it out of its storage box only to find that it's missing its nosewheel.  :banghead:

A rapid trip to The Loft produced an ancient Novo Sea Venom kit and I'm waiting for the superglue to cure right now. The Novo kit doesn't have a nosewheel door for some reason, but a little styrene carving and a dab of silver and black paint and we'll be set to go.
