Can you guess the build from the loadout...?

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

AS.12

Hmm one too many each side for an A-37, so along with the daisy-cutter fuses I'm going to guess it's an A-1

Rheged

A heavily overloaded Sea Hawk, perhaps? ;D

I'd be gunning for an A-1 Skyraider, too.

My 1st thought was an OV-10, but the number of hardpoints would not match, either, as on an A-37, so an A-1 sounds most plausible.

The only other option I can see is an A-10 but, although they're now OoP, I'm doubtful they'd be considered "Classic", yet.

Mmmmmm. . . . . think I'll have to throw in with an A-1 also  ;)

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Good call fellas.   Pics tomorrow.   Tamiya's gorgeous 1/48 A-1H.
So I got that going for me...which is nice....

First pic...kind of dull admittedly, but it's a relatively dull scheme until it gets some colorful markings, then it's one of my all time favorites.

Work tonight but hopefully more progress tomorrow and first decals on.

This is only my second ever Skyraider, the first being the Monogram kit I built as a North Carolina Forestry Service Fire Bomber on floats for an Amphib GB on here many, many moons ago.  (2006??)

Anyhoo....can say with much confidence that the Tamiya kit goes better a bit better than Monogram's (nicely detailed) effort.

So I got that going for me...which is nice....

I love the ol' Spad!
