I finally got home from Tokyo and remember I had to dig this out, forgive the crappy shot from Francis K Mason's book.

That reminded me that I did the tuning fork years ago.

It was one of the first casting projects I did. The master was made by Phil Cater (Formaly of this parish, as Rodger the cabin Boy)
From memory it was built to use Ye Olde Airfix P1127 kit.

The twin-fuselage contraption seems to be the worst of all possible worlds. Not only are the student and the instructor in separate cockpits, but the drag of that thing would probably limit it to hovering flights only. Careful with that yaw though, because it would probably disturb the airflow and stall the engine
