I trans-Pac'd to the Philippines with them back in '06, a very enjoyable flight.  And should have trans-Pac'd with them a year and a half later, because PAL out of LAX sucked.

That's obviously the telescoping fuselage section so they can seat more pax at times of high demand, without incurring the extra drag of an empty section when demand is lower.

or should that be "There's no 'F' in Pacific" or is that being to specific?

I wonder if it was painted in the Philippines (they have trouble pronouncing F's so left it out)
