Not if you use the fuselage of an SR-71 or a Beverley though.  ;D ;)

Assuming it could catch them, or perhaps it would wait until "they" tried to lap it, the Beverley could swallow its rivals. ;)

Yes, just leave off the doors and fly directly in front of them as they try and pass. GULP!  ;D

It's 'Competition' too, so models need not be 'Racing' in nature too, which means I could build my Extra 300 kit in some Whiffy scheme perhaps...........  ;)

Yep, any form of competition.

Chess playing robot anyone?
Army Catering Corp Master Chef kitchen?
Self propelled armoured pool table?

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Surely the Bev would be horse-drawn?  ;D

Or perhaps mule?  ;D

I've got a photo of my Grand Uncles using about 20 mules pulling an early monster size harvester which was taken in the early 20's IIRC. I'll hook it out and try to copy it.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

Interesting choice of truck cab for 1989. Still an impressive engine set up.

Would it be wrong of me to suggest a game of Lawn Darts?

F-16s and F-104s embedded into a giant dart board...

Competitors one and all.
There are just over two days to go until we start The Competition.
Please begin making your way towards the start line in an orderly manner.
Those requiring scrutineering form a civilised queue and have your wallets ready.

They need tilt systems to get around bends at those speeds!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Another interesting railway subject would be the Kruckenberg Schienenzeppelin:

or its prototype:
