Whifs found at museums

Only if it wasn't scrapped in the great scrapping of USN ships around 1958, otherwise who would have triple-triple turreted 16 inch guns? Which immediately is sunk by the "museum" phrase, where people tend to lack a certain amount of imagination.

In my german trip this summer, among others, I did visit also Rechlin, once a test base for the Luftwaffe.
It was quite disappointing, as, apart from 3 jets and 3 copters, all russian, that you see in every museum in Germany, the aircraft were all replicas.
One of them caught my fancy, as it could be called a 1:1 whif: the Gotha P-60 C.

Unfortunately, it proved impossible to dislodge the grumpy fat lady from her perch.

At least her trousers had the same camo scheme as the manned missile (Focke-Achgelis FA P-1)

I'd assumed that you had included her as a DIN standard" grumpy fat lady" to give us a size reference.

If you had come back an hour later the camo pattern would have spread to her blouse and shoes, two hours her whole body. Next morning there were two FA P-1s on display.
