Question please. I take it from this that they are not doing the wristbands this year ?

Last year they did both. Wristband plus a mark on your membership card so the same card can't be used to gain admission twice.

I beleave Harro is right. They stamp or hole punch your membership card to avoid any attempt to try gain a new wrist band.on the same membership card.

My original IPMS no. was 884, so you can tell how ancient it is!

One year I was in the US when it was time to renew and the somewhat autocratic membership secretary wouldn't let me renew a month late and gave me a period number, somewhere in the 10000s, but I always write '884' over it.

NARSES, wristbands are being used. Those wristbands issued on the Friday for setup are normally issued by a God! as they are allowed a proper stamp which is placed on the reverse of your card. The other pleb err, sorry, volunteers are only trusted with a Bingo marker, hence the comment about the great big splodge!

In all seriousness, help the people on the tills and membership admissions, you'll get in quicker AND you'll help to shorten the queue.

Just checked last years card and yes there is a rather neat green splodge on the back, but then I was in on the Friday for set up

Just looking at what I want kit wise and basically I need Alley Cat, AZ and RS. Now as far as I can see none of them are on the traders list 

I didn't expect to see RS on there and thinking about it AZ bunked in with someone else last year, but Alley Cat ?

Oh well just have to go searching once there, or ask The Kitfinder General
