Haven't had a Jaffa Cake in years (since 1980  ;D ) I've forgotten what they're like ---
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

There are those one metre long packets you can buy around Christmas time.........

Please don't remind me, Mrs_PR19 bought me one each Christmas ever since they started selling them!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I find, like KFC and Wagon Wheels, they are better in memory than in reality.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Couple of points of note re Telford 2018:

2. For IPMS members: THERE WILL BE NO MEMBERSHIP DESK ON THE FRIDAY. You need a 2018 membership card to use the kitswap and get into the show for free on Saturday and Sunday, but you won't be able to get a new card by renewing at the show on the Friday as (I presume) some people have been in the habit of doing previously. You need to renew your membership before the show, by post or via the website, and the cutoff date to guarantee getting your card back in time for SMW is midnight on the 31st October. Any renewals received after that date will get a 2019 card that won't work at this year's show.

Weaver (or anyone else come to that) will it be possible to drop off kitswap items on the Saturday morning before the show opens to IPMS members?  And if so from what time?

EDIT: have checked out the IPMS(UK) website and found details.

Nick

I will be there on Friday afternoon on double setup duties. Thankfully my club London/ALM are across the aisle from What-If SIG so I won't have too far to go.
Don't be too surprised if you see me 'crossing the floor' at some stage on the weekend.  ;D

By the sound of it those of us with setup wristbands will be making repeated trips to and from the loading doors for the members who can't get in. Hope they can get into the car park...

Kitswap - I doubt I have much to sell this year although I have recently acquired an AMT 1/72 XB-70 which I might pass on at some stage. No doubt I shall wander in there and grab some bargains but I now know not to grab old crap!

As for shopping lists, I need to go through my stash and work out what sort of decals I would like to use. I certainly need some 1/144 RAF Harrier or Tornado sets, 1/144 USAF sets, a modern 1/48 RAF set and anything else that grabs my fancy. A set of decent brushes would be good.

Well I shall be reporting for set up duties at 15:00 on the Friday  Then I just need to find where we are. Does anyone know if a site map has been published ? Only I can't find it on the IPMS Website

OGL mentioned it a day or so ago, but I'm not sure in which thread.

Who was after an 1/72 Airfix Westland Scout for SMW? I have just looked at my stash and discovered I have two, one is also reserved for a C-Scale Wasp conversion, but I am sure 'arrangements'can be made over the second.

Mememememememememememe!  ;D

I too have that C Scale conversion, perhaps we could build them both on the stand and spoof people that they're the first production S&M ones?

Try post #1 by weaver at the start of this thread, I added the link soon after he created the thread so people could check

Well that's a convenient change of venue: near to Hannants... ;D

I wonder if the Classic British Kits guys will get upset with us...

There's a thought: I should get some Armourfast M18 Hellcats.
