Right ladies and gentlemen, the results are in and it was very, very close with the lead changing hands a couple of times.

So in the bronze medal position we have ------ Kit's PR19 Canberra

In the silver medal position we have ----- Jalles's F.42 Tempest

And in the gold medal position we have -------- It's that man again, Kit's Rotocrane

However this was just the very tip of an outstanding iceberg. There were some incredible models in this G.B.  and all I can do is congratulate everbody who took part.

I hope you all enjoyed it and for those whom time constraints finally won the never ending battle I hope you get the chance to finish your models in the future.

So thank you one and all

Chris
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Well done everyone but particularly well done to the top 3.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

Splendid range and variety of contributions folks. Very well done to everyone and congratulations to the winners.

I'm amazed, chuffed and embarrassed all at once. I really didn't think I had a chance against some of the masterpieces in this GB, especially Jalles's Tempest! That was pure scratchbuilding, whereas my stuff were kit bashes at best, or just a repaint in the case of the Canberra.

But thanks so much for all of your votes, I'm very grateful. The real things will be at Telford of course, so you can see what sort of unexceptional builds they really are.  ;D

Considering the quantity and quality of the entrants I'm stoked with second place!

Thanks to the mods for putting this on and thanks to everyone who voted and participated! There were so many great builds.

Congrats to Kit, awesome job!

Hey, don't sell yourself short. I've kitbashed and scratchbuilt and sometimes trying to get disparate parts to blend together is far more frustrating and difficult than just starting from scratch. Anyway, I loved the Rotocrane, a well deserved win!

The choice was very difficult to make, a lot of really fantastic builds. However I ended up voting for the top three, Kit' builds always amaze me, and Jalles' are just awesome (I was going to insert that awesome image but decided not to because I don't want to over use it   ;D ;D ;D

I would certainly not have put money on either of the first two as to which would come in first. I was the first to vote and I voted for both.
If I was asked what made it to the finish line first, I would suggest Imagination. The Tempest was a fairly straight forward thought process, the Rotocrane is just WILD. I rest my case.

Woo yeah!!!!! Congratulations!!   This was a good'n. I always say it .. but... it was exceptionally difficult to vote this time, even with the additional slots.

Quite the successful group build, I'd say. ✨😃✨😎

Congratulations to the winners - worthy result!  :drink:
And many thanks for setting up this GB and managing it!
And, last but not least, great to see so many excellent and creative ideas. Voting was tougher than usual!

Devilfish

As always, some amazing builds in this GB. A hearty congratulations to the winners.
In such company, I'm happy with the position I got, albeit further down the ladder.  Just inspires me to try harder next time!

zenrat

I entered three builds.  I found the distribution of the votes between them interesting - not what I would have expected.

Kit's 'dyne was always going to win because, well, it's a Rotodyne...
;D

Hehehehe, I'll make a note of that.

Now how about a John Player Racing Team support Rotodyne for the Racing and Competition GB?

Maybe with an air-liftable pit box as external load...?  ;)
